I am doing OK on my oath. I have a friend coming up this weekend who is a health guru (in a good way) and is totally helping me with body image issues, etc. as well as just making good changes overall for the family. She makes me stop and think about things - all things - it is amazing.

I took the OATH but forgot all about it when I made a mistake at work and beat myself up about it. My boss was much more kind and understanding. I need to remember to be as kind to myself as I am to others.

One way you influenced me already is with laundry! Now with each garment I fold I appreciate its use and softness for the person who will wear it.

Once I took a seminar. We all sat in a big circle. The exercise went somethiing like this: If each of the persons in the circle were to toss their biggest problem into the center of the circle, so they could pick another person's problem, they would choose to take their own problem back....

Self talk should be positive. I agree with you completely.

I've been doing quite well with the oath. I noticed myself yesterday using some negative thinking about myself and stopped quickly because really, I was having an off day -- it seemed the universe was conspiring against me, but that didn't make me any "less". Being mindful and stopping the negative in it's tracks...we can do this! :)

My work on the OATH is going much better than I had anticipated!!! Now, you're throwing me a curveball!!! I have to be truthful with myself...and positive at the same time??? LOL!!

This is a great challenge in its entirety. It really forces us to step back and analyze how we see ourselves...not just how we THINK others see us!

I am SOOOOO glad to have found a new friend in you!!! You inspire me!!!
