12 Days
You're here! I'm so glad you made it! I have been looking forward to this. It's so easy to lose the peace when the holidays roll around and I'm excited to be seeking peace this year, along with you.
If you've landed here by accident (perhaps you were searching for a skydiving adventure to give as a gift this holiday season?), or if you just need to be reminded, start by reading this post to learn more about 12 Days of Holiday Peace. This is day one!
Make a list:
You've probably got a ton of lists already in progress. Grocery lists, gift lists, baking lists, to- do lists, Christmas card lists and lists about the lists you've made. Why not take a minute to list the things you're grateful for?
Make a list and put it where everyone can read it and can add to it. You could stick a piece of paper to your refrigerator with a magnet, or clear a space on your family's message board. Be sure to keep a writing utensil nearby.
Throughout the days of the season, write down what makes you smile. Simple blessings. Things you already have. Invite your family, your friends, your neighbors, the plumber - whoever passes through - to add to the list each day. Watch the list grow through the holidays and find peace in what you already have.

Ah, the list we always seem to put off. There are lists for everything else, including sometimes lists for our lists...but lists of gratitude and one that others can add to -- yes to making time for that list and posting it to be seen and read...and added to!
Loving the new banner!! ♥
A wonderful idea Deidra. I keep a list in my Journal, but one where everyone can write and add their thanks to the list would be even better.
I've started a list and laid it on the dining room table for my Hubby and I to use during this time.
Thank you! :)
I've spent a good part of the past two weeks making lists of the things I've thankful for. What I really like is the suggestion of having others (those passing through) adding to the list!! thanks for that!
List started – first two items:
1) boys all home Christmas morning 2) found three gifts that delight me (the giver) as much as I hope they delight the receivers!
So true! I guess I would start with my two guys.
Love the list and especially having others add to the list as they pass thru.
I've been looking forward to this, Deidra. I've kept a list of my thankful in my Emmaus memory book but it's a wonderful idea to have others add to it. I love the photo of your home(?) on the opening page.
Starting mine! I love the new header picture so nice!
totally love this idea!! thank you......
