Thanksgiving, for me, serves as the threshold to Advent. It seems right to feast and to fellowship with friends and family members, and then to turn my attention to Advent. A time of preparation; getting ready to celebrate the birth of a miracle. Today my heart is turning. From thankfulness for what has been, toward thankfulness for what will come.
I always want it to mean more each year. I'm always searching for a way to mark the significance of the truth of this celebration. And so I find myself swelling with expectancy.
Be blessed today, as together we turn toward Advent and search for the sacred and significant in these days of joyful expectancy!

That's me...seeking soul significance during the holidays. I don't want it to fly by without feeling the awe and miracles that are always around. I want to create, inspire and feel them everywhere.
Thanks for the reminder to be grateful for Advent. Sometimes I am so focused on just trying to get through the month that I forget what it is really about.
I find that seeking more with each passing year. I want to hold the days close and savor this advent season.

THIS marks my most favorite time of year!!! I love to see the warmth that some people exhibit this time of year! If only everyone looked for the tiny glimmers of hope that this season consistently brings about!
