faith,
friends,
grace,
holiness everywhere,
prayer
The ones that get me through are the prayers of those who have loved me and who love me still. Those who do not know me but know - as they say - "the words of prayer." Women who in sweater pockets carry tiny spiral notebooks where they write down prayer requests. Men who pause and bow their heads and offer up my weakness. Congregations of cyber friends who hear and who know the value of a sacred utterance that asks for help on behalf of another. Only this. Your prayers. They are ushering me through to healing on the other side. I can feel it.
Thank you.

I hope you are doing better! Thoughts are with you!
The ability to recognize all the words and thoughts that constitute what prayer is and to let yourself feel those prayers requires faith. Both healing and grace come from that.
Be well. (my simple prayer)
I hope you'll be back to feeling rosy again soon! I've been thinking about you!
Isn't it something when you can literally feel the prayers?
I'm hoping that you're feeling better soon. I'm going to be heading out to NC tomorrow morning, layover in TX so if you need me to, I can somehow head to your direction armed with chicken soup, get a cab, come back in time to catch the next flight.
Take care, my friend.
Prayer and rest will do wonders!
wondered today how you are feeling Deidra... thinking of you~
~Maria
Feel better soon. I am praying for you.
Love and heartfelt peace sent your way xoxo
We have been the recipients of much prayer this week too. It is humbling, encouraging, life-changing.
Please know I'm praying for you too.
Beautiful word picture here:

Thank you for that ...
Better tonight, friend?
Deidra - I hope this post finds you in a better place. Keep on talking and praying to God. He hears you. Your family loves you, as do your blogger friends.
Even at this time, He draws you close. Prayer is the most important medicine, peace and love to you, hope you are feeling better, x.
i still stagger at the power of prayer ... the restoration of rest ... and the healing of hugs ...
more hugs and prayers for you as you get well my friend,
